You see, for a lot of wealthy people, if they are so inclined in academic pursuits, getting a degree or additional degrees is like a hobby. I've witnessed it first-hand. They also take sabbaticals from time to time.

Only small-time peasants fret over which course of study or which degree to pursue, in order that he/she might obtain gainful employment after graduation, preferably in an industry related to the studied subject.

yup no shit that's correct but then again i would fanthom that most wealthy ppl well don't really have a genuine interest in any field of study. They just go thru the motion of studying and probably pay to graduate who knows. Most ppl that seem to do exceptionally well in studies seem to come from poor to average backgrounds.

I doubt it's not only small time peasants. I would say the majority of ppl fret over what to study even the sons of really rich businessmen for example, their parents want them to do business so that they have the acumen and knowledge to take over the business rather than resting on the family's laurels.

If all car have better fuel efficient improve by double the current rate and all bulb using LED. That will cause oil drop to $60/barrel and many oil company will went bust. Any price below US$80/barrel not worth of deep sea drilling and sand oil mining.

If oil prices drop to 80 or below rest assured tat prices will go up soon as supply will drop. This causes a overhang on demand.

With the usa oil production increasing n middle east becoming more unstable n everyone needs oil. Prices will remain sama sama. Just my 2 cents.
