Something is very wrong in our society. Why is it we often see our police arresting the victims instead of the real perpetrators of crime? Debtors get arrested instead of loansharking kingpins. Cheating football fraudsters continue to make money and even advertising in forums while the victims are handcuffed and hauled to a lockup. The man needs psychiatric help now thanks to the fraudsters and real criminals who set up shop here to prey on us and what do we do? Whack him when he is down? Is it any wonder why desperate people head for bedok reservoir?
There should be a movement by civil society to call for clarity to this issue, conviction to pursue justice for the real criminals and condemnation of this sad state of affairs in the name of progress, globalization and free society.

Both the gambler and the masterminds should be dealt with.

Problem with our law enforcement is they only go for the easy catch which is the gambler. That is why the crime keeps staying at the same level and never diminishes.
