I'm truly disappointed with #GrabFood.
How would you feel that your information is being shared with an unregistered personnel and that individual impersonating as #grabfoodpartner?
This is the 3rd incident happened to us within less than a month.
Previously our phone number, name and residential address is being accessed freely by the grabfood partners. Only recently, our phone number is not. And perhaps who knows, the frequent nuisance calls and msgs in regards to loans and bets MIGHT due to such breached of PDPA from Grab app.
When I called in on every incident in regards to this, All they could say is..... "We are directing this to relative department and the team will investigate"
I mean come on, grab. Suspending their accounts will not justify the issue here.
When u suspended one account, they can always tap on others account. It's the vicious cycle. The main root problem is your system has a loop hole.
Spoke to their manager and all he could say, "I assure you that the company is looking into this matter seriously and I truly understand your concern"
"Well I hope you do. I truly hope you genuinely do understand"
Just imagine, you are expecting a female delivery rider, and suddenly the person knocking on your door is another unknown male individual. When my hubby questioned him, he said he is not registered grabfood partner. He is just sharing the accounts and when we checked with him if this is allowed to share account.. he said, "BOLEH"
The purpose of me sharing this incident is not to destroy the rice bowl of people who is registered as grabfood partners and has been sharing accounts to unregistered personnel.. i truly encouraged the unregistered personnel to genuinely get yourself properly registered and hope grab expedite their request. And if their application is rejected, I am truly believe Rezeki is everywhere. Just need to keep hustling. I don't blame you for wanting to work. I applaud for your willingness and hard-working. But I hope you guys hustle at a correct platform. By wearing Grab tee shirt, using their delivery bag and impersonating grabfood partners is technically wrong.
I am annoyed by grab. It's their system with loop holes. Yes I agreed that all systems has loop holes. Indeed. But loop holes of having unregistered individual impersonating as grabfood partners and having to have our data's shared among the unknown?
Come on grab, you are invested with multi million and yet you have such loop holes? This is not funny.
I've mosaic the image of the rider who impersonate as grabfood partners, because I wish to protect his identity. This is just an evidence where he wore grabfood tee shirt and freely impersonate as a grabfood partner.
As for the registered account holder, I've also mosaic her image as I wish to protect her identity. This is just an evidence how easily the app is being shared freely to an unregistered individual. Any Tom, dick and Harry can easily log in and out another's account holder. And all the information is being shared.
