A Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Full-Time National Serviceman (NSF) tested positive for COVID-19 on 17 May. He has been identified by the Ministry of Health as Case 63366. The serviceman is currently warded at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. The SAF has been in contact with him and his family to render support and assistance.

The serviceman last visited Sungei Gedong Camp on 14 May. As part of precautionary measures in place for positive cases detected, the SAF has carried out immediate and thorough disinfection of the premises the serviceman had been in. All personnel who had been identified as close contacts have been swab tested and are under quarantine

It matters whether he or anyone is actually sick because Covid is a very mild disease in most and the majority don't suffer any symptoms whatsoever.

The PCR test is not an appropriate diagnostic tool either so a person can test positive via a PCR test despite being absolutely well. All it does is look for strands of genetic material which could be indicative of an infection that has long passed.

Since you mentioned HIV the answer is that unprotected sex is safe if the viral load is reduced sufficiently to prevent transmission so the answer is yes it is safe to fuck even if you have HIV provided the anti viral drugs are working.

As is the case in many matters the devil is always in the details which is why it is always pertinent to ask whether a positive PCR test is actually indicative of an active covid infection.
