S$ to be devalued

we do not have resources, so if sinkies dollar devalue, it cost more to buy resources to supply our factories.

If we import more the export, don't devalue
But if this condition is not reverse, we are also doom.

Our export is doom not because of cost but no demand, so devalue have no big impact.

They already removed 9 "zeros" from the previous currency last year before printing these. Thats the bigger joke.:D

They have removed another 12 zeros on 1 Feb 2009. 1 USD is now worth 1 Zimbabwean dollar. But the note is anticipated to be legal tender for 1 month only.

Hopefully, it will go below the rupiah. or better below Zimbabwean dollar.

WTF may as well put decimal points ! What a joke !

How many loaves of bread can I really buy with that money? Not even one? I would have to be a multi-trillionaire in order to afford that one divine golden loaf from God's factory, am I right?

Sadly yes.

But a good Gov will be able to balance the risk that they can't control and provide help internally for the people and local industries to survive long enough till the economy recovery.

Instead of focusing on throwing billions of hard earn state funds at failing overseas banks.
But when it comes to helping the local population, bloody stingy.

I wishes SGD to be devalue to : in 1 year times

SGD $1 = RM 1 (malaysian ringgit)

SGD $1 = RMB 2 (chinese yuan)

USD $1 = SGD $2.5

That will attract more US companies coming to Singapore to set up new factories
& prevent more Malaysians & PRCs coming to Singapore :D
