What is good, reliable and very safe to invest in?
If not, I will just leave it under my pillow (in fixed deposit).
I am a kiasu low-risk investor.
This money is actually for my retirement.

If you are risk averse, then you might want to put the money in a capital protection scheme that pays like 3-5% over about 3 years.

just took out mine, 20K for 3 years

Buy shares with good dividends.
I have 10 lots of SPC bought at $1.66, CPF money.
One year $4,000 dividends.
