I have been invited to a Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas Cruise.

Anyone familiar with this cruise? Any advice?

Thanks in advance

not familiar with this at all...my only advice is...if BosSam asks to come along with you firmly say NO!!.

He will try to share the bunk with you . Thats his modus operandi.

Enjoy your cruise, their ships are some of the biggest ever built for liners.

Hi Tracy,

I had been to the Voyager Of The Sea. It was one bad experience as the whole ship was packed ( during the school holidays) and everywhere you went ,esp the dining areas, it was packed, packed and packed with long queues. But overall, it was a wonderful trip. We went off shore at Klang and Phuket. My overall impression was good. The cabaret shows were great! They even had a ice rink with top performers! Have an enjoyable cruise!!!

Thanks for your advice and tip...

yes, packed ship may be a problem as the maiden voyage is on 8 Jun...right smack into the school holidays

it's still okay with the families and school kids around - but you can still find your quiet corner some where in the huge cruise ship. and perhaps you can also choose your dining areas with some care. maybe avoid those buffet spread and go for the alacarte service. or maybe dine in some private restaurants on board. end the evening with some drinks and lumsing too or just listen to some great singers or pianist. i am sure you will enjoy your cruise. cheers!

Virgo is smaller. But it has gone through some renovations and it is great. Not too big but I love the casino and of course those gorgeous dance girls and the filipino band. great !!! value for money! you will certainly enjoy the bigger cruise ship with more facilities.yeah!!!

and dont forget to post ...show photos...give FRs
