The best watch craftmanship is not Swiss it's Japanese.

The workmanship and attention to detail on Grand Seiko watches far exceeds whatever Rolex churns out.
Even it’s cheap citizen and seiko can tahan 20yrs
 
In this modern age, wearing these are just pandering to your egos.

I haven't worn a watch since 2020 except for work and as a fashion item during weddings. Other times, I'd prefer to be as naked as possible.

It's not ego. It's enjoying the finer things of life

Wearing a mechanical timepiece harkens back to an era when men were men, when the watch is the only accessory that's acceptable on a man's wrist, not bracelets/bangles. It shows an appreciation of the exquisite workmanship involved in getting cogs, springs, wheels, plates, synthetic jewels and screws to dance in perfect harmony.
