USA is just a ''union'' of 50 ''independent'' states.............any state can secede but they must vote...........that's why each state has its own laws.....

the Federal Govt actually SHOULD only have authority over the D.C. area and foreign affairs and defence............each state is ''ruled'' by the governor........
so even if FBI or CIA agents want to go to the state, they must ask the governor for permission............

of course now that their economies are so meshed together..............not practical to secede but they will if the USD collapse............


Texas can leave the union most easily since it was invited to join the USA when it was an independent country............
