Veteran actor William Ho Ka Kui (何家駒) used to be known as one of the four greatest villains in Hong Kong film industry due to his superb performance in the film "Prison On Fire(監獄風雲)". It is reported that he passed away on January 27th, 2015 at 4:53am. He was 66 years old.
In recent years, it is known that William Ho had been suffering from diabetes. Earlier, he was diagnosed with pleural effusion and later turned into pneumonia due to insufficient care. He was still seen working even before he recovered. A few days ago, he was injured from a bike accident. Even thought his leg was injured, he failed to receive appropriate treatment in a timely manner and ended up with complications. He was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital on January 18th at noon. On January 27th, 2015 at 4:53am, he passed away from multi-organ failure. A reporter called the cellphone of William Ho and was picked up by his friend, he admitted to the passing away of William Ho and wouldn't reveal anymore details.
William Ho's last film was "The Prison diary of a Golden Toff (高登闊少踎監日記)". Coincidentally, his character had the same name as his first film. He started his film career with a prison film but also ended his career with one too. It is said William Ho used to work a variety of jobs in the entertainment industry and he was also the the manager of Chow Yun-Fat (周潤發) at one point.
