Aside from the usual worries about having their identities exposed cos the new forum is directly under sam so he gets to see all ips
It is this sort of ignorance that I find ridiculous given the fact that the internet has been around for more than 2 decades.
Your IP address tells me nothing just as my IP address tells you nothing. It's not like a phone number. I'm currently logged on via 125.239.31.216.
If you do an IP lookup, it tells you the following :
