i ve very little faith with chee. it's not that i m prejudice against him but there are many things that made him the most dubious.
i m also wondering why tan jee say and ang hong guan and many others quit sdp and set up their own political parties.
these are the questions i believe the voters need to know before casting their votes.
What's your problem if not deep-seated prejudice?
Yes, CSJ made mistakes in the past, thinking he could change the system with acts of civil disobedience. But he's paid dearly for all that, having been jailed, sued several times over, and bankrupted. Not to mention being demonized by the MSM.
He's now learnt his lesson and is focussing on electoral politics by coming out with policy proposals and doing regular walkabouts. What more do you want?
As for TJS and AYG leaving SDP, the answer is simple. TJS wanted the Sec-Gen position, CSJ refused, and TSJ left, pulling AYG with him. TJS made similar propositions to other parties too; they rejected him and he thus had to set up his own party, SF. If you were LTK, would you allow a first-time candidate – even one of the calibre of CSM – to demand the Sec-Gen position?
So what's your problem. Talk about a Buddhist bearing grudges and not knowing what forgiveness is.
