ACS badminton sibei tokkong. I don't understand why. Last time every school tio thrashed by them.
ACS has traditionally been strong in rugby, swimming, water polo, tennis, badminton, canoeing, bowling, track and field, cross country, cricket, squash etc. It has added football and basketball to that list of late.

They never had a specialized badminton coach, yet they still performed very well in school tournaments. Once in a while, a neighborhood school would produce a Combined Schools player, and ACS would lose that match - but they would still win the tie 4–1.

They are a bit haolian, no doubt. But who wouldn’t be if you won everything? Other schools don't even come close.

I have nothing ACS. In fact, I have a couple of good friends from ACS. They are as normal and grounded as most others from other schools. Unlike some delusional kukubird with full of snobbery seen in this forum

You must compare apples with apples lah. Where do you friends stay and what cars they drive ?

Only 10% of Singaporeans own cars, and of that 10% only less than 3% own luxury cars. You are looking at a very special apple hor.:sneaky:

The last time I heard anyone mention their school (neighourhood or prestige) or query was during NS and uni days. Early in my career, colleagues rarely talked about it. I started a small business after 40+ y/o, my business associates almost never bring it up. In our adult lives, what truly matters are our achievements and contributions to work and the community (like @JohnTan who is serving as a grassroots leader). In my experience, those who constantly brag about their 'prestigious' schools in their adult lives are often the ones who haven't achieved anything impactful enough to brag a sentence. And, those who brag they have 20 people working under them, usually they have no outstanding work achievement to display.

I’m wearing Levi boxers but no anyone can see them. Maybe I should start wearing my Levi boxers over my trousers to get the same kind of validation after my failed attempt to buy a ACS t-shirt from Flibbertigibbet a few days ago. Bragging about your prestigious school in your 40 is just living in past glory and honestly, nobody cares, let alone feels envious. At 40+, a man is at prime in career and personal life. He should be defined by his career milestones and the family he built, not his prestige school tie from pre-adult age.

You are half-German. Perhaps, you should start to brag about your prestigious German kindergarten that your dad had to pay hefty school fee.
