Singapore Citizenship after ORD​

Question

Hi, I’m about to ORD soon and I am thinking about applying for citizenship. I have an offer in an overseas Uni that starts right after my ORD and I want to pursue that too (partially coz I won’t be accepted here since my GPA is low). Does going overseas for my studies affect my chances in getting citizenship, especially within the next 2-3 years?

I’m currently an Indian PR who’s stayed & studied in SG all throughout my life FYI.
