Friend being abused, don’t know what to do​

General

My friend (minor) currently being emotionally/mentally and sometimes physically abused by his mother and sometimes stepdad
(also note that he’s trans ftm which made it worse when he came out to her)

Contrary to the title, we both know we can report to the MSF for help, but the thing is that he is a foreign student on student pass and things are the same back in the Philippines where he comes from, and if we report to MSF and they don’t find any faults in his mother and shes free to go, he may be abandoned and sent back to PH as back in PH she had another child before my friend but then abandoned her.

Currently we do have some recordings of her abuse but I don’t know if its enough.

My question is how does MSF deal with cases of foreign students, and are they eligible for fostering or any thing like that?

I’m really worried for him because it’s almost every day he’s talking about taking his life and me, along with other friends, treasure him dearly.

He has tried counselling and it does help to a certain extent but he’s worried that if he reveals too much about his home life, they might talk to his mom and then after that his mom may do whatever do him. Also note that shes a sweet person on the outside to others but is becomes a demon towards him, swearing at him, calling him useless, making him do everything, etc etc.
