Couples in interfaith relationships (dating/marriage), how do you make it work?​

Just as the title suggests, curious to hear stories from people who have experienced this! Was having a conversation on religion in relationships and realized I don't really hear about interfaith relationships much within Singapore and I don't have a lot of friends who are in interfaith relationships, so I genuinely am just curious how it would work.

If both parties aren't particularly religious in their respective religions, would it still work? I understand that this is also largely dependant on each individual's preferences and the level of respect they have for one another, but curious to hear everyone's thoughts!
