That fucking referee should be barred until he lose some weight. Poor refereeing has a part to play. De Gea mis read the first goal.

Lukaku mis firing and Fred decides that he has done enough.

Agree. after running 50 meters, that obese man in black went blank in his head and pointed to the spot, hoping I guess to catch his breath.
The shot was taken 25-30m out but to be fair the strong wind carried the ball to his right. De Gea did not react fast enough. If it was at point blank range, I can understand.
The problem was the two front men. With so many opportunities, they couldn't even convert one.

If they dun take the opportunities against Wolves, we're done!!!

What has gotten into people's heads? Could be scouser rivals?! :inlove:

man-united-petition.jpg

What did the Manchester United petition say?
The petition said:
Obviously with an intent to spread their influence in Asia with Singapore as a platform, this group called The Red Devils from Manchester is not welcomed. We shudder to imagine the kind of negativity they bring with them.
Manchester United is slated to come to Singapore in July 2019 for the International Champions Cup (ICC).
There were 288 signatures in 12 hours.

Some fans must have told DG that he's no better than Sanchez, the mercenary. I cannot understand why United are willing to entertain this idea of paying goalkeepers way above the odds. Let him go.

You mean the work of scousers. Yup, I agree. If there's one thing they lack is CLASS which unfortunately money can't buy.

David Beckham to play for Man Utd
in 1999 Champions League reunion game

By Simon Stone

Beckham made 394 appearances for United before leaving for Real Madrid in 2003

David Beckham will return to Manchester United to mark the 20th anniversary of their dramatic 2-1 Champions League final victory over Bayern Munich with a match against the German side.
The game will be played at Old Trafford on 26 May and feature many who played in the original match at the Nou Camp.
Sir Alex Ferguson will manage United with Beckham, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Jesper Blomqvist in midfield.

"I'm so excited to be going back to Old Trafford," said Beckham.
"1999 was such a massive year for us so recreating that moment is going to be really special," he added.
"To be back together as a squad and to be managed by the boss again is huge. I can't wait."

Former England captain Beckham, 43, won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one Champions League crown during his United career before he was sold to Real Madrid for £25m in the summer of 2003.
United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who scored the injury-time winner in 1999, is expected to be in the side.

The Champions League triumph - with victory over German giants Bayern secured thanks to two injury-time goals by Teddy Sheringham and Solskjaer - was part of a 1998-99 Treble that also included the Premier League title and the FA Cup.
The anniversary match will raise funds for the Manchester United Foundation.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester United: Ole fed to the Wolves?
Saturday, 16 March (19:55 GMT)

What a season Wolves are having.

They've already marked their Premier League return by beating Tottenham and Chelsea - as well as knocking Liverpool out of the FA Cup.

Will Nuno Espirito Santo's side end Manchester United's hopes of winning the trophy this season at a sold-out Molineux?

Can 'Mystic Matt' Doherty predict the future?
"We're going to try to do something great," Wolves' Morocco international Romain Saiss told the Express & Star.

"It's an important game for us to get the semi-final at Wembley. We play at home and we have to be ready for this game."

United have had a full week to recover from their first domestic blip under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a two-time FA Cup winner with the Red Devils.

Solskjaer is demanding an immediate response after seeing his players drop to fifth in the table after a 2-0 defeat at Arsenal on Sunday.

United have beaten Reading, Arsenal and Chelsea to get to this stage.

They will have to bounce back without Ashley Young. The full-back serves a suspension, with 19-year-old Diogo Dalot favourite to take his place at right-back.

Juan Mata, who scored in the 2016 final, has not played since 24 February but is making progress after suffering an injury in the goalless draw against Liverpool.

"We have already had to play some tricky fixtures in the FA Cup and the trip to Wolves on Saturday will be no different," said the Spaniard.

"We want to be in the semi-finals of a tournament that is very special for everyone, and to do so we will have to put in a good performance against opponents who are having a great season."

Did you know? This is the 100th meeting between Wolves and United in all competitions. Their last Molineux encounter came in March 2012 in the Premier League, a 5-0 victory for United.

United deserve to lose. Deja vu, there was a Mourinho moment in the way the team approach the game. let's hope they don't get thrashed by Barca.

Our neighbour City is one farking lucky team but at least they showed the desire to win the game, unlike the fucktards at United.

agreed. the rot is quite deep inherent from David Moyes days.

Pogba who was the captain of the night didn't step up. His meek attempt to clear cause the first goal. How on earth can Jimminez score with 5 players crowding around him is worth a debate. OGS insistence with Lingard is inexplicable. Clearing lacking match fitness, he chose to field him instead of Pereira or Fred. Its not as if both of them were not showing up well. Ok, Fred gave away a penalty at Arsenal.

Wolves showed them a lesson in counterattacking. Shaw for whatever reasons, was involved in both goals. One clearing the ball out half heartedly, the other hooking it back into penalty box like playing sepak tekraw and subsequently fall to ground easily. What the hell is the game plan? Why aren't a CB staying back or at least near centre line?

Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tells Ed Woodward
the THREE players he wants sold

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has spent the last two months doing much more than rescuing Manchester United's season.

The caretaker-boss has also been in constant dialogue with Manchester United executive vice chairman Ed Woodward about who will come and go at Old Trafford this summer.

It promises to be another interesting and hectic close season on the red side of Manchester, where there is work to be done if United are to launch a genuine challenge for the Premier League title next season.
Supporters will be more interested in who is arriving than leaving, but the fact remains that even a club of United's huge wealth need to keep balancing the books - and will have to sell some unwanted stars if new ones are to come in.

Solskjaer might wear a look that suggests butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, but behind the exterior lies a ruthless streak in the Norwegian that he will need if he is to make it to the top in management.

While he has handed Woodward a list of targets he thinks will help United become great again, he has also made it clear who won't be in his plans should he get the job on a permanent basis.

Top of this list is Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean arrived at United from Arsenal on a free transfer in 2017 on a staggering contract worth £500,000-a-week.
But he has been nothing more than a huge let down at United, where poor form and injuries have transformed him into one of the most expensive flops in English football history.

Solskjaer has spent the last three months assessing Sanchez has decided he just doesn't fit into the ethos of the team he is attempting to mould.
Now the pressure is on Woodward to find a club willing to take him of United's hands. Good luck with that.
Following Sanchez through the exit door will be Antonio Valencia.
Despite spending the past few months on the sidelined injured and out of the picture, he still remains the club captain.

But don't be fooled. The Ecuadorian has given loyal and committed service to United, but Solskjaer knows the time has come to ship him out and look for a younger and more ambitious right back.
United bosses have refused to give Valencia a new contract and at the age of 33, the writing is on the wall for him.
He has options in the shape of Arsenal, West Ham and Inter Milan and he could well have played his last game for United.

Another defender expected to be sold is Argentine international Marcos Rojo.
Rojo arrived at United from Sporting for £16m during the Louis Van Gaal era and was a regular in the side during his first two campaigns.

But he has suffered bad luck with injuries and a change in management to leave him facing a bleak future.
When fit, which is not that often, Solskjaer has been reluctant to pick him, safe in the knowledge that Luke Shaw is now the established left back.
United might even be willing to allow him to go on a free transfer just to get him off the wage bill, and a return to South America appears the most likely option for Rojo.

There are also doubts over the immediate futures of Eric Bailly, Diogo Dalot, Lee Grant and Ashley Young.

Methinks OGS will get the job. I dun think it's an issue whether he gets it now or later. He was tasked to get the team to finish top 4 with the resources at hand for the second half of the season. The performance metrics were clearly defined and to be fair to OGS,players and mgmt, it is best that they wait till the end of the season to appraise manager, players and the club. Let's not forget that MUFC is a listed entity. If for any reason, MUFC fails to achieve top 4 it would look bad on the CEO, board of directors and the club and of course the tabloids and the pundits will have a say in it as usual.

I dun think it was intended to make things difficult for Ollie. It's the reality of the job at a big club like MUFC, super high pressure and very high expectations no less from fans globally.

Two defeats in a row. Important that they bounce back with watford. Otherwise if the slide continues OGS star will start to diminish. Pochettino is itching to move now that Real Madrid is out.

If Man U wants he will be available.

With Poch, he'll bring his entourage of support staff and we'll be back to square one. He's no doubt ideally suited and a proven top manager and I'd say he is best suited for the hot seat among all the top managers.

If the club is looking at long term, Ole is the best choice.
