Recession-hit UK Chicken Half-price

any news when geylang and FLs will half price?? :D :D

Interesting article. However, last time I checked on punternet.com, prices for prostitutes were the same as they were about 10 years ago. In fact, some have actually raised their prices especially just before the Olympics.

Hahahahahaaa........ Competition Act does not apply in some niche markets. You may want to know that brothel keepers DON"T pay taxes.

Wow! Thanks for info. Why is that? I cannot imagine the reasons why Comp Act exempted of why brothels don't pay taxes.

Since late 70s if I recall correctly.

Say 35 years since 1978, @ 3% average inflation compounded annually, $150 in 1978 is the equivalent of $422 in 2013!

Nominal prices are the same but real prices appear to have fallen significantly.

I guess the govt is prepared to forgo collecting taxes from okts as they do not want to be seen as 'indirect okts' through the collection of taxes.
