Rats everywhere...Bishan Street 13 abandon fountain

Have not been down to Bishan for quite a while, to the coffee shop call Kim Leng..something like that, at Bishan Street 13.

At the other end of the same block there is a Fairprice Supermarket, in the same block, upstairs thre is a NTUC club..KTV, Jackpot etc..

Just outside the building, there is a rock formation fountain, ro should we say a minature waterfall, with fishes etc.

Well, it was still there, only thing now is, it is abandoned. That means, no water, no fishes..and looking a wee bit derelict.

Horrors!, I saw a family of rats, crawling in & out of that waterfall..from small ones to very large one. I wasn't the only one gawking at the rats...

The supermarket is just 100m from that colony of rats, the coffeeshop about 200m.

What is Bishan...Town Council doing?...does NEA knows?...are they waiting for another mass food poisoning?

This is SINGAPORE..uniquely SINGAPORE...colony of rats...!! wow!:rolleyes:

Ahh!..that you can see clearly, the RC's coakroaches are sleeping etc...are...ha ha ha.. really about the rats at teh abandoned water wall/ pond...it used to be a functionable, won't say beautiful thing, with water, fishes,,,and people would throw coins into the pond..like the 'three coins in the fountain, thing'...

Was rather schocked to see it become a drelict, for I had not been to that part of Bishan for a while.

What had happened?...ran out of funds? can't be right?...must be somebody getting paid, & not doing the job right!:rolleyes:

You are looking at the wrong place for the PAP money making oppurunities.

If you look at the road in front of the MRT stations, they are doing some king of drainage works. Many Indian workers are involved in digging holes.

Recently notice they took down a newly put in fence & moved 2 metres :rolleyes:

Nearby along Marymount Rd they doing the same thing. Never noticed any problems so assume its an "upgrade" exercise to provide cronies with work

Rat catching business not enough $$$ for the bigger rats :)
 
i tink not juz bishan is having tis problem... tink many other places oso got rats problem.... dunno where they get their food...
