For about 6km, Changi Coast Road runs long and generally straight with a speed limit of just 70kmh.

Yet it has been the scene of some horrific accidents.

Yesterday, a crash between a lorry and a Mercedes-Benz car at about 4.30pm left five Indian workers with broken bones and other injuries.

Passing motorists were horrified to find the workers lying on the side of the road bleeding from their wounds.

Security executive Khairullah Jumala, 26, was in his car on the road with his wife when the crash occurred.

He recounted: “The car was in the right lane and the lorry on the left. It seemed as if the lorry was trying to overtake the car. One minute, the two vehicles were side by side, the next minute, they collided.”

I'd love to see more of this again and again. Sinkies must be screwed hard by the Ah Neh lorry driver. It'll be even better if the Mercedes driver would have died and his vehicle is in beyond economical repair condition. That is why now both my bike and car also have video cameras installed.
