my car stereo can only read orginal CD.
if i burn songs into CDR/CDRW..it just say error.

but the stereo spec indicate it can read CDR/CDRW.

during the CD-RW buring buring..
i use selection as: burn cd format (most CD players and car stereo can read)
another selection is :burn CD as most PC cd player can read.

any bro knows why?

My car stereo cannot play mp3 or other format
so I only burn them to audio cd, I think
any type of disc also can as long as the format is playable.

but compile is all mp3.
when i burn into cd as audio format (think ard 13 songs)...still cannot play

Disc media comes in all flavors. Some brands are more compatible than others and it's always a hit-and-miss thing. Bee there done that.

Just change the head-unit to one with USB input and play your MP3s from your thumbdrive.

There's a difference between burning an audio CD vs burning a data CD.

An audio CD that is playable on CD players does not contain any MP3 files, it contains .CDA files.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.cda_file

If you just copy over (or drag and drop) your MP3 files to the CD-R, it can't be read by stereo CD players.

Use this lightweight program for all your optical disc burning needs:

How to burn an audio CD with Imgburn:

yeah you need to finalize to read on cd player
you do not need to finalize if you read on computer

http://www.cd-info.com/howto/finalize/

depending on what cdr burning program, the settings is different. so you need to look around the program. and turn on finalize when you burn the cd for your car.

why in the first place buy pirated or download illegal songs?!?

most of the songs I downloaded from the internet are mp3 or wma,
windows media player can convert them to audio cd when I burnt them.
if you pick them from your audio cds, no need to convert.
I used to pick all the songs which I like from a pile of cds and burnt them,
some with dialect songs, Chinese and English songs all in one cd,
market cannot find, haha.

Why are you still burning CDs? Why don't you use cassette tape instead?
