3. Union want to be involved in discussion and decision making with union to ensure people are aware of what is going on and move with the company.
4. Union ask for reasonable pay increase and only certain department strike and Qantas can still operating without shutdown
5. Qantas Joyce get a 71% pay rise from 3 mil to 5 mil while all workers get the standard increase and after that, he started to ground Qantas.
What Joyce did was very wrong for everyone. You pocked an increase of 71% of salary and you arm wrested everyone. The government step in and the work resume but the delay cause a lot of problems. Imagine if you are suppose to attend a wedding and you miss it because of this unwanted cancel flight. Imagine if someone is in need of blood or emergency aid and someone die because the aid did not arrived on time...and so..
Corporate responsibility is important because life are at stake.
You can be a LKY in Singapore but when you bring this sort of attitude anywhere in the world, you wont survive anywhere and that is why Australia and the rest of the world are not meant for every Singaporean that think he is LKY.
Good luck to you because one day when your job is threathen to India and China, dont look for your union because you support this LKY and now you dig your own grave.
