Putin want Xijiping to buy SU-57 to suplement J-20 as a follow-up striker, Xi not signed orders in Russia yet?

The idea here is an economical way of war. Since J-20 is a superior weapon but too expensive. SU-57, not so stealthy, but very strong to carry heavy amount of ammunition payload. So the way to use them together is J-20 in front to kill AWACs & Ground Radars or Sea Radars, make the area safe for SU-57 carrying heavy load of unconcealed ammunition. J-20 carries concealed weapons inside internal weapon bays, but that way won't be many bombs, and missiles, and would be very expensive to send a big fleet of J-20 in order to have sufficient ammunition for adequate killings.

J-20 can give a nasty surprise, to cut an initial hole into enemy's defense. But the ammunition carried concealed is not a big amount so initial hole is not big enough damage for a mission. If you want adequate damages on the targets you need to spend quite a huge amount of money to build many expensive J-20. SU-57 cannot give too much surprises because on radars they are many times more easier to detect, J-20 can get much loser before being detected.

The economical plan hence, is to use J-20 to cut a small hole into the defense sufficiently safe for larger fleet of SU-57 to get inside carrying sufficient ammunition to ENLARGE that small hole to make it big and painfully hurt for the enemies. Doing this way SU-57 can hang lots of ammunition under their huge wings, but this way is non-stealthy, the radars can easily see these as clear targets. Hence J-20 must kill these radars initially.

China bought Su-57 not to replace 歼-20? Russian media view is interesting: give him a hand

As we all know, because the Russian-made fifth-generation stealth fighter Su-57 has obtained far less orders than the expected in the Air Force, the Russian aviation industry can only bet the future of this fighter in the foreign military trade. On the road. In fact, it is not difficult to find out that when Su-57 is still in the development stage of T-50, the news about its export earnings has been one after another. In the near future, the export license from the Russian government and the emergence of the special foreign trade version of the Su-57E have made this series of discussions more and more enthusiastic.
(The reduction of the Su-57 order has forced him to turn his eyes overseas.) (The reduction of the Su-57 order has forced him to turn his attention overseas)

As Russia's long-term most important military and trade partner, even if it has begun mass production of the J-20, it is inevitably regarded as the main export market of Su-57E together with India and Turkey. Some people may be curious about this. Compared with our understanding of Su-57, what is the attitude of Russians to our 歼-20? Recently, the US "National Interests" website quoted a report published in the "Russian newspaper" about China's import of Su-57E, which can achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. It gives us a rough analysis of Russia's evaluation of China's 歼-20 and Su-57E. Entering China's view.
(China and India have always been regarded by Russia as the main export market of Su-57) (China and India have been regarded by Russia as the main export market of Su-57)

The article believes that the conclusion of this Russian report is that the Su-57 is not bad or bad compared to the 歼-20. They have achieved different positioning and application through different technical routes. First of all, the J-20 was designed as a missile platform with a relatively strong stealth capability, which means that they can penetrate the enemy's responsible air defense network and target the key nodes such as early warning aircraft, tankers and electronic warfare aircraft. In contrast, the Russian Su-57 is not only good at taking air control in air combat, but also has a certain stealth ability and good ground strike ability.
(Russian media believes that Su-57 is not bad or bad compared to 歼-20) (Russian media believes that Su-57 is not bad or bad compared to 歼-20)

In addition, the Russian newspaper also admitted that the stealth performance of the J-20 and the overall R&D equipment progress is better than the Su-57 project. But they also believe that the Su-57 used some technologies that were lacking in the development process, such as vector technology engines, long-range air-to-air missiles, and directional infrared interference systems. In this regard, the article on the "National Interests" website pointed out that the Russian newspaper's report combined means that China should purchase the Su-57 stealth fighter, but it is not used to replace the 歼-20 that has already started mass production, but will It is complemented by technology and practical applications.
(Buy Su-57 is not to replace 歼-20, but to supplement it) (Buy Su-57 is not to replace 歼-20, but to supplement it)

Interestingly, the Russian side has also put forward a very novel point of view. They believe that China's first introduction of Su-57 will make this fighter more attractive to other potential customers such as India. The increase in the number of Su-57 export orders will not only enable Russia to further increase its investment in the domestic aviation sector, but will also greatly stimulate the Su-57 production plan. This may allow Russia to start large-scale deployment of this stealth fighter in a short period of time. As a result, the fifth-generation fighters originally deployed in the western countries of the Pacific will also be forced to move to Europe, which is in full compliance with China. Interests.
(China's introduction of Su-57 can eventually force Western stealth fighters to move to other directions) (China's introduction of Su-57 can eventually force Western stealth fighters to move to other directions)

Of course, the article also mentioned at the end that under the background of the continuous strengthening of strategic cooperation between China and Russia, the depth and interest of Russian institutions in assessing the J-20 stealth fighters is also increasing. Although Moscow may not intend to import this Chinese flagship stealth fighter, it is a convincing reason to export the Su-57E to China, which proves that the Su-57 possesses what China needs, and even 歼- 20 things that are lacking. In this case, deepening the understanding of the 歼-20 has naturally become a necessary job. (Author's signature: Bladed Military)
