It has already been proven that d flood is bcos of debris choking up d drainage system. Tat goes to show tat d bloody contrators are not doing their job properly. You guys know why PUB dun fine d contractors who were engaged to clear d drainage? Tat is bcos d contractor company bosses are d bloody PAP ministers!

保险公司大出血　3水灾共赔2290万

过去3场水灾，7月17日那场豪雨造成的损失最大，本地保险业者得支付的赔偿额达1250万元，占2290万元的总赔偿额的54％，一些国人的保费预料将大幅度增加。

我国据新加坡普通保险协会（GIA）公布的数据，6月至7月发生的3场水灾，估计要让保险业者支出2290万的赔偿额。估计1130万付给暴雨造成财务损失与业务中断的索偿个案；约1160万支付给汽车保险索赔个案。

GIA表示，接下来若还有水灾，并造成财务和汽车损坏，常受影响的地区，可能得支付更高的保费。它吁请自认会被水灾影响的客户和商家，与各自保险公司查询，确保有足够保障。”

据《商业时报》报道，受访保险业者指出，除了汽车保险是强制性，不少国人在灾难方面的投保不足。
灾难损失保单

业者举以下类涵盖灾难损失的保单，供国人参考：

◎选择全面车辆保险（Comprehensive Plan)：

·将现有的汽车保险，转换成上述保单，可覆盖水灾、暴风及树倒造成的损失。保费：每年约1200元。

◎购买涵盖其他外来风险如水患的火险：
例如；称为“列举风险”（Named Perils）的火险或财产保险，索偿范围包括火患、雷击及与水患相关的损失。组屋火险，每年保费：70－90元。

涵盖“所有风险”的保单，甚至连恐怖袭击也受保。
