Prof Low should scratch a bit deeper into what he is saying instead of just regurgitating what we all already know. For example, can he tell us where did all the viruses on the various surfaces that we touch come from that necessitates frequent hand washing? Has it ever occurred to him that if it wasn’t from the fart from our anus or the sweat from our palms, the great majority of these surface viruses ought to have come from the mouth and nostrils and that any barrier that reduces droplets exiting the mouth and nostrils would have decreased their numbers falling onto any surfaces too?
Conclusion
Prof Low is urging us to learn the right lessons. But it appears that it is he who has fundamentally learnt the wrong lessons and will now impart these wrong lessons to more students in Hong Kong.
