If en bloc sales is what the government wants to tackle , they should be very intentional and targetted on the En bloc sales by raiding the ABSD for these group of buyers.

Implementing additional 5% across the board choke both the supply and demand side of the property market , leaving the developers who bought into the Enbloc and land sales high and dry . Buyers investors are also put off by the measures . The results is that the demand get curtailed but the supply side increases after the record enbloc and land sales . We have a bad situation. The market is spooked . The supply will continue to grow while the demand flops.
