Report from Asiaone:

Presenter allegedly bitten by co-host at event

A veteran sports presenter is alleged to have attacked his co-host in the middle of a live screening of a football match between Arsenal and Manchester United earlier this month, reported The Straits Times today.

SingTel mioTV host Soo Kui Jien was allegedly bitten on the face by his co-presenter Patrick Kinghorn during half-time. Mr Soo had reportedly been chatting with patrons at Timbre @ The Arts House at the time of the incident, according to sources who spoke to The Straits Times.

The police received a call at about 10.45pm requesting assistance. The caller had said someone had been bitten on the face.

No ambulance was called, according to The Straits Times.

Mr Soo and Mr Kinghorn are co-presenters of a weekly show on SingTel mioTV's dedicated football channe, mio Stadium Channel 102. Mr Kinghorn is also the anchor presenter on the channel. Sources told The Straits Times that the pair do not get along with each other.

Legal action is believed to have been started, and the case is classified as one of voluntarily causing hurt.
