Chartered Industries was today's Singapore Technologies use a factory hidden in the Bukit Timah Natural Reserve to produce ammunitions and explosives to supply US military during the Vietnam wars.

Every few weeks the SAF will be ordered to ship ammunitions from the facility using 3 toners to Bedok Jetty to be loaded into US Navy ships to be used in Vietnam war front. Bombs & ammos and bullets of all sorts. These operations were done at night.

We know because our family were fishermen frequently observing these on routine basis.

That was the purpose of Bedok Jetty.

Was at an ammo dump doing guard duty 1 time when my DO asked some of us to follow 2 or 3 three tonner loaded with live ammo to bedok jetty for live firing exercise. However I could be wrong.

Those are different because the US Navy Supply ships to Vietnam Wars usually loads 20-30 3 toners. Not 2 or 3. There is a long convoy of it and always turn off their lights and even the jetty lights plus the park's lights in the area were completely blacked out.

Standard operations repeated regularly.

Recently I went to the jetty and saw PRC & Viet FTs taking pictures and riding mountain bikes on the jetty have no fucking ideal WAF is the Bedok Jetty. I wanted to laugh. They presumed wrongly that this was for leisure and fun.

So I am writing to tell these communists FT who is their enemy and the jetty sent lots of bombs and ammos to destroy their homes and villages and kill and hurt their family members. Chinese volunteer divisions had died in Vietnam in huge numbers from ammos sold by Lee Kuan Yew and the blooded profits I doubt never benefit Singaporeans at all but are in Lee family's Swiss Bank A/C.

Ask this big question, what was Bedok Jetty built for and why is it there?


It is not a part of PSA port, there is no ferry service from there. There is marine supply operation from there.

It is huge strong and tall, why?

It is so because the jetty will nicely reach the military supply ships berth at the end of the jetty, and the height is just nice for convoy of ammo trucks to unload heavy cargo into these ships. There is no crane on the jetty. The ship have their hoists.

In the dark a whole row of SAF trucks will go out with completely no lights to park next to the US Navy ships which will only operate 1 or 2 very dim lights, and hoist sound can be heard in quiet nights up to 1km. The jetty is big enough for 3 toners to U-turn at the end and come back, and jetty's width is also just nice for 2 rows of 3 toners in opposite directions. There WAS a large sort of car park near jetty for many such vehicles including ammo escort troops.

Lee Kuan Yew will order SAF to close off the nearby area near dinner time, and control the lightings OFF, ask people to leave. Close to mid night the convoy will arrive and unloading will continue the night and finish & leave before the sun light is up. The ships also gone.

Only 1 to 2 ships. Supply ships and not combat ships.

There is almost no other use of that jetty. SAF nearly never use it.

There is a mapping marker on the end of the jetty. Used for aerial photo and map making. That was for USAF to photo the jetty and calculate the precise longitude latitude and print on US Navy maps. So captains of supply ship now how to locate and navigate to it without problem in the dark.

Whole thing was about bloody profit by greedy Lee Kuan Yew and about Vietnam War.

Metal parts of the bombs and ammos were made by Chartered Industry in Jurong south of where the Boon Lay MRT Station. Explosive production and explosive filling and assemblies are done in a secret factory still inside the natural forest of Bukit Timah. The road access it Rifle Range Road (furthest end).

The entire south bank of Lower Pierce Reservoir is ammo area. West side is SAF ammo base, East side is the ammo production.

They started it's operation during Vietnam Wars. The ammo is still operating. Jetty abandoned after Vietnam wars, became a fishing White Elephant. The convoy parking areas and roads gone. BTW the parking area was also densely covered by trees for obvious reason. There was switching control box in (fenced section of) that parking area to control lightings of the whole area - to black out lights. There were locked road barriers for ammo trucks, only SAF had keys.

In the past many years, I had encountered Singaporean friends involved in various parts of this secret operations, and slowly the info got to me, and the entire dark picture had became so clear in my mind.

Bedok Jetty used to be a base of Singapore Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) for their military exercises before being opened for public. It was also used by the Singapore Armed Forces, the Singapore Air Force and the Singapore Navy during Operation Thunderstorm in 1975 to receive the refugees after the surrender of Saigon to the North Vietnamese forces. An SAF Field Hospital was deployed to Bedok Jetty to provide first aid and other essential medical services to all Singapore bound refugee boats fleeing South Vietnam following the Fall of Saigon in 1975.

Yap Swee Hong chose to build the jetty at Bedok was because of its proximity to his Bedok holding area.

Equipment classified as damaged and shipped here were dumped in his holding area for onward transshipment to other countries and mainly to National Iron, a S'pore listed company then.

FYI, Yap Swee Hong was one of the biggest borrowers from Moscow Narodny Bank who later made him a bankrupt. He owed MNB up to a tune of $180m.
