SINGAPORE: President S R Nathan said it was not a tough choice for him on whom to vote for. He said he knows Singaporeans are sensible people and will do what is best for Singapore.

President Nathan was speaking to reporters after casting his vote at Haig Girls' School. He was accompanied by his wife.

Voters streamed in early at Haig Girl's school, one of the 781 polling centres, with a few voters arriving just before the centre opened at 8am.

Some 2.27 million voters will go to the polls on Saturday to choose Singapore's seventh President.

Polling stations will open from 8am to 8pm.

The 781 polling stations are located at schools, Community Centres and void decks.

After polling ends, the votes will be counted at 162 counting centres.

Voters are advised to take public transport or where possible, walk to their Polling Stations.

Is there ever any tough choice for him? EVER?! Na bu lao chee bye! :oIo::oIo::oIo:

Nathan is really a disgusting, morally decrepit, vomit-inducing, bottom-feeding low life piece of scum. He is a complete embarrassment not only to the office of President but to the Republic of Singapore and even the human race. I seldom express my dislike for people in such strong terms, but Nathan really takes the cake. He is the perfect example of what is wrong with humanity today. Ironically, he has successfully achieved the "unifying" role expected of the President, because EVERYONE in Singapore (be they PAP supporters or staunch PAP haters) is united in the view that Nathan has disgraced the Presidency.

No president, with or without election, not even Devan Nair accused of drinking and womanizing, has been so much disliked and despised as SR Nathan. And he earned the most money, easily $30 to 40 million over 12 years.
