Why are all sinkees missing the point?

It's not about reducing the number of deaths or bad incidents in NS.

We should question why we need to serve NS in the first place!!

I remember few years back, someone fired this question to LKY... In LKY's reply, he mentioned that NS is to protect your country and family... In peace time, you can treat it as a personal physical training... In war time, you will be able to protect your country and family....

Looking at recent death poll, it seem like people are dying in NS even before WAR start... very ironic and humilating.... furthermore, male sinki spend 2 stupid years and end up losing a significant step to FTs where they don't need to serve NS... I reckon, NS is a Lose Lose situation to all male sinki....
