It was torn down long ago, the construction has been ongoing for quite some time.

Should have retained Paradiz Centre.

By the way, Paradiz Centre resembled the old Funan, while Pomo/Grid looks like the new Funan.

Way before Paradiz Centre, the whole stretch was a row of shops selling aquariums and fishes and imitation cassette tapes.

There used to be an A&W next to Cathay cinema. And there was an overhead bridge in front of Rendezvous hotel.

They just need to theme it, eg: Golden Mile as Little Thailand, Lucky Plaza for Philippines ... etc.
Perhaps try Little Amsterdam & so-on ....
