Police arrest man in connection with vehicle thefts

Police have arrested a 43-year-old man on Thursday morning in connection with two cases of theft from vehicle in Jalan Hitam Manis.
Officers from Clementi Police Division managed to trace and place the suspect under arrest in the vicinity of Belmont Road.
This, after the victim, a 31-year-old man reported that his cashcard, which was left in his vehicle had been stolen.
Investigations indicate that the suspect is believed to be responsible for more theft cases including another similar case of theft from vehicle which was reported on August 23 in the Jalan Hitam Manis area.
