Not so long ago the PAP was comparing Mah Bow Tan's 'O' Level results with that of Chiam See Tong- and now LHL is saying there may be more MPs who are ITE and poly graduates (implying academic results not important)-what a flip flop.

PM Lee realised the folly of fielding degree holders after losing PUNGGOL EAST by election where a non graduate WP candidate Lee Li Lian beat his PAP degree holder "ASS DOCTOR" Koh Poh Koon.

The pap candidate was out of touch with the people despite his humble beginnings. He mentioned that everyone has a car. He has two in the family. Imagine a junior politician with that mindset, you can figure how out of touch his seniors are.

How effective was the important TV program whereby PM Lee was to have addressed key issues and questions raised by Singaporeans?

Judging by TODAY's coverage of this event it looks like 20% was on real issues (skinny column on left), 20% was on promoting PM as an affable guy (see big pix of him taking photo of his hosts) and 60% was on birds and animals (report on Bird Park and zoo expansion).

This is called a Red Herring tactic or in this case using a Red Flamingo to distract from the negative issues.
Kinda sad though he had to resort to fowl play.l

PM Lee claimed that income levels doubled (meaning 100% increase) in a decade; that is during the period of his tenure as PM to be able to 'afford' the rise in costs of living! No person challenged that statement; none from the opposition parties questioned that remark!

Was the doubling of income levels across the board?

He talking about himself only lah. His income went up 1000% after they peg his salary to the top earners. His wife salary doubled after all the bonuses.
