PM consider people who eat grass are poor

"I think that if you are not ‘real poor’, then poorness is a state of mind. It is a feeling. It is when you look around and most of the people are richer than you. This is the core of the ‘sg poor’ community. Imagine this, if you are sg poor and you are surrounded by the real poor people of the world (like the ppl who don’t eat for weeks.. no clean water, not clothes, no healthcare ect.) would you still feel poor? Would you feel poor eating plain rice when your neighbour is eating (literally) grass?"


What kind of rubbish is that? PAP has been ruling Singapore for almost 5 decades and after all the endurance and sacrifices the people contributed to the success of Singapore he still expect the poor to eat grass? Where are the shares he promise the people?
