A Singaporean man in his 30s finally got a HDB flat last year after balloting for four years with his father, but he may now have problems paying for the flat as he does not qualify for the HDB grants due to his income exceeding $5,000 per month.
Watch the video below:
<IFRAME class=youtube-player height=390 src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wVqJAuiQ0hk?version=3&rel=1&fs=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&wmode=transparent" frameBorder=0 width=640 type="text/html"></IFRAME>

From the video, his deposit was forfeited and lost $28k...why like that? thought they should confirm the loan amount before allowing purchase to be finalized..

Earning more than 5k per month and yet homeless? Uniquely Singapore :D

Earn 5000 should be enough to buy 5 flats Liao. Live in one and rent out 4. He must have voted for the opposition Support PAP.
