They have updated & upgraded the neighbourhood spaces AGAIN, they have even upgraded the basketball courts, badminton court & the exercise area with new paint, floor covering, lights etc...Come early morning, one take a walk at the area, there are empty plastic drinks bottle, soft drinks & beer cans, styrofoam food boxes, plastic bags, sweet wrappers, cigarette butts etc..strewn all over the basketball court etc..from last night...there are six dustbins on the perimeter of the courts...one is full to the brim, the others, ARE EMPTY.

Sure those kids, using the basketball courts or even the adults or older ones, have gone to school or have some schooling, educated in the PAP MOE school system...what happened to to the education ? & where are the social graces?....or have they learnt anything from the "Keep Singapore Clean" campaigns??

What is the use of a new, lovely looking environment?...when the residents & users of the facilities built for them have a SLUM MENTALITY?...might as well, don't spend money, upgrading...leave as a slum.

In hawker places before in the past, you order and they bring food to you and clear that away by hawker assistants.
If you go eat in Malaysia, you order food from hawkers they bring that to you and clear that away at price a quarter that we charged in Singapore.

In Singapore , hawkers pay through noses for licenses and MIWs pacify them by demanding sinkies become hawker assistants to gue and wait for food and serve yourself and now to clean up.
What next?
We cook for food and pay them?

And now they cumming with mealy mouth we must be gracious to be hawker assistants and cleaning ladies cleaning men?

They are charging the hawkers fees for this & that, & cleaning fees at hawker's centers...where the cost is factored into the food prices. With a mentality that I am paying more for the hawker's pay more to MOH, NEA, Sing Power, etc..why should I clear my trays on the table...let them do it.

In other countries where returning the trays were the norm, I very happy to comply.
But not in Sinkapore where to laugh louder to banks, they making singkies to be fucking hawker assistant twice. One in queing and taking food back in that fucking self service and now trying to drum up sinkies to help cleaners and ah sohs to returning tray.

By the way, singkies do not help them. Once returning is norm, hawker centers will hire less and less and less of them.

Why not follow Europe and USA and Japan and other 1st world country all the way?
