美國與中國大陸近來在南海議題上僵持不斷，美國海軍希金斯號驅逐艦（USS Higgins）和安提頓號神盾巡洋艦（USS Antietam），27日罕見駛入南海西沙群島12海里，此舉讓中國氣炸，痛批美國侵入中國領海。對此，中國軍事專家張召忠撰文表示，「中方應學過去蘇聯的作法，準備結實又大的船，只要美軍再來碰瓷，就直接撞出去！」

美軍日前2艘戰艦駛入南海西沙群島12海里，這是歐巴馬至川普政府以來首次有2艘以上的美艦執行此任務，有專家認為，代表美軍在南海議題走的是強硬路線。針對美方的行動，中國大陸日前則表示，「西沙群島是中國固有領土，強烈敦促美方立即停止此類侵犯中國主權、威脅中國安全的挑釁行動！」
綜合陸媒報導，針對美艦駛入南海西沙群島12海里，中國軍事專家張召忠撰文指出，美國是搞這種行動的「慣犯」，中國要做好準備以防不測。張召忠還建議，「中方應學過去蘇聯的作法，準備結實又大，且不需高度現代化的船，只要美軍再來碰瓷，就直接撞出去！」
張召忠也強調，「到時候撞了也就撞了，因為在我們主權範圍內，我們的被動防禦完全有道理！」

The US Navy Higgins (USS Higgins) and the USS Antietam (Under the USS Antietam) have rarely entered the 12-nautical-tall sea of the South China Sea Islands on the 27th. The two US warships have recently entered the 12-nautical-mile coast of the Xisha Islands in the South China Sea. This is the first time that the Obama-Chuanpu government has had more than two US-made ships performing this task. Some experts believe that the US military’s lineup in the South China Sea is a tough line. In response to the U.S. action, China has recently stated that “the Xisha Islands are Chinese indigenous territory and strongly urge the U.S. to immediately stop such provocative actions that infringe on China’s sovereignty and threaten China’s security!”
Comprehensively, according to a land media report, Zhang Weizhong, a Chinese military expert, pointed out that the United States is an “usual offender” for such operations and that China must be prepared to prevent any eventuality when the US ship sails into the 12-nautical miles of the Xisha Islands in the South China Sea. Zhang Zhaozhong also suggested that "The Chinese side should learn the past practices of the Soviet Union and be prepared to be strong and large, and it does not need a highly modernized ship. As soon as the US military touches porcelain again, it will directly hit it!"
Zhang Zhaozhong also emphasized that "When it hits, it will also hit it, because in our sovereignty, our passive defense is completely justified!"
