They should call Prataman for help...he is hostage taking specialist..we gladly lend him to them....they shoot him, our burden lessen a few million dollars...

There are few methods to deal with this:

1. Sharp shooters (snipers) from suitable height to aim into bus.

2. Stick few tiny camera on windows with listening mics.

3. Gas the bus with fainting gas.

4. Shock blasters into the bus.

5. PRC method 2 vans to drive up on each one side each with light machine gunners standing on roof to bash & shoot inside (laser red dot)

6. Under-cover pretending to send food inside or pretending to be medic or doctor.

7. Suddenly break several windows and illuminate the solo gun man for the snipers outside.

In any case all the doors including emergency exit are not good entries, because the gunner inside had already prepared to aim and fire at these locations.

Too slow if you try to enter via windows.

Best is to shoot through windows to down gunman 1st before entering. And to do that more surely is to get sight and sound and illumination inside swiftly and suddenly just before firing.

This is what they use to storm buildings and bus etc in hostage situation.

Directly they will jump from top of van into 2nd floor or roof of bus or into windows, within just few seconds.　The is a very flexible ladder alike those firemen's.

Each situation is different lah!
One hostage only compared to 30 over hostages.
One location is in the open where gunman & hostage is in full view, the other hidden inside a bus with none in view.
Hostage taker is armed with knife, the other with M16 auto.
One is local spir-of-the-moment ordinary man, the other a policeman trained in armed and unarmed combat.

Tough situation. Philippines police should be more patient instead of playing hero. They should wear out the gunman. They could think of other delaying tactics - unless the desperate gunman fires eg send boxer Mammy Pacquiao or Estrade to talk to hostage taker, water laced with sleeping pills, etc.
