Its just baffles me that you and other singaporeans think that this is new. Do you know that any grad from most countries can apply for 6 mth visa and look for a job. No such thing eslewhere in the world.

In the early 90s, PR often get letter from citibank every 6 mths to riase their credit limit and a similar letter from ICA about upgrading employment pass to PR.
