The Law Society of Singapore (LawSoc) had preferred five charges against Mr de Souza – a Member of Parliament for Holland-Bukit Timah GRC and a Deputy Speaker of Parliament – but a disciplinary tribunal found that only one charge was made out.MP means double standard???

De Souza will face the full weight of the law. Our judiciary here does not operate under fear nor favour towards any political party. De Souza will likely be made to step down as MP too. His white shirt and pants won't look nice if stained with his sins at the workplace. Better to not taint the rest of us.
