<!-- story content : start --> FROM Thursday, those with gambling problems can voluntarily ban themselves from the two upcoming casinos here. They can sign up on this website www.knowtheline.sg These self-exclusion measures are part of efforts by the National Council on Problem Gambling to tackle the scourge of gambling addiction and the toil it inflicts on families. In June, the council allowed families to apply for their loved ones to be barred. So far, 19 people have been ordered to stay away from the casinos. An estimated 25,000 to 29,000 undischarged bankrupts and those on the Public Assistance scheme will be next on the list to be excluded from the casinos. They will be automatically banned.
