Well we know that the solution lies not in PAP or WP. In fact in my opinion a Singapore run by WP is far worse, personally. Imagine DEI policies and we have to make do with reverse gender discrimination from Wokers' Party. But people are angry and they want change and they think WP or any opposition is the answer.

We will continue to do what we do, which is to share and expose the truth, continue our legal actions and in the coming days also engage more in policy conversations over at SG Watchers to produce more educated and discerning voters who will look beyond party brands and examine more carefully the policies that parties are advocating. With limited time for campaigning every 5 years, those conversations are long overdue.

While the results are discouraging, I am deeply heartened that there is a group of courageous Singaporeans who have stepped forward to voice concerns about the infectious disease act and coroner's act.

This conversation is now brought to the mainstream and it is our job to continue to educate those around us.

I personally think that it would be hard for them to pull off their stunt on the infectious disease act while info and data is pouring forth.

Their covid measures gave birth to this group and awakened many who were previously politically unaware and even propelled some to stand for elections.

So while they can celebrate their 65.57% victory, we will celebrate
that We the Patriots will not allow evil under our noses.

That is the first step towards any change.

S'porean culture - especially with the older folks - is not really attracted to new and different things. They seem to prefer what they already know and are comfortable with. It is worth noting that the WP winning in those GRCs was not achieved overnight. Low Thia Kiang had a 20-year plan which involved consistently being on the ground connecting with the people. As for the 65%, they chose "the devil they know" rather than risk siding with a possible saviour that voters are unfamiliar with.
