Pappies do not mean that locals are taken to refer exclusively to the natives, who are true sons of the soil, born and raised in the island. When referring to locals, the pappies mean natives and all the foreign imported shits.

Anyone with half a brain knows that foreign imported shits are not true natives of the island. They are in the island to squat while waiting for good time to come to their home land. The island is not their real homeland but a land for squatting to enjoy the good life, safety and education. Should the island become the target of terrorism, they would be the first to flee to balek kampong to their homeland.
