Panasonic starts trial operation of vegetable factory in Singapore

Panasonic Corp. has started operating a vegetable factory in Singapore on a trial basis by utilizing part of its plan..........Panasonic has been putting focus on the agricultural business and tapping the Asian market. If sales get on a solid track, the company plans to manufacture the production system for vegetables at the plant and sell it to Southeast Asian companies, targeting sales of more than 10 billion yen, according to the sources.

Olam opens Africa’s largest farm in Nasarawa State, Nigeria

In line with the agenda to improve the crop yield and ensure food security across the country, Olam farms has commissioned Africa’s largest rice facility in Nasarawa State.
