每套系统由1台搜索雷达车、1台制导雷达车，以及6辆发射车等组成，其中发射车配备六联装发射装置，内装6枚导弹。导弹弹长5.5米，弹径0.4米，弹重约700公斤，射高为10米到25000米，最大飞行速度4马赫，最大射程70公里。
巴方试射
从2016年珠海航展上，LY-80系统展示看，已经采用几项新技术，包括；间断照射半主动雷达导引头；激光半主动导引头；激光主动探测/触发复合引信等技术，进一步解决了不足之处，提高可靠性等。
