解放军军机恢复绕台飞行后，战战兢兢的蔡英文当局不断放话声称：“大陆在东亚区域频繁的军事动态，已经一定程度影响了区域的安全稳定。”日前蔡当局又做了一个小动作，将“宪兵指挥部”所属的“宪兵勤务连警卫排”扩编为“快速反应连”，绿媒叫嚣：其目的正是为了“反制大陆”。
岛内亲绿媒体报道称，解放军对台“政经指挥中心”发动猝然攻击的战力增加，台防务部门在派驻海军陆战队进驻北投复兴岗后，仍感“机动战力不足”，因此决定将“宪兵指挥部”所属的“宪兵勤务连警卫排”扩编为“快速反应连”，利用“宪兵机车连”机动、快速的作战特性，来有效监控蔡办周遭重要街道，强化防卫作战能力。
据了解，过去外界一直认为“宪兵机车连”主要是担负岛内重要活动的“表演任务”，但在此次转变为“快反连”后，未来除了负责礼仪任务，还将增加反空机降、反特攻、反突击等作战能量。
对于台当局的此举，台湾艺人黄安发文讽刺，“宪兵”的任务就是帮助蔡英文逃跑。
据报道，2016年12月29日，蔡英文在年终讲话中曾妄言“大陆不会对台动武。”但黄安表示，蔡英文一方面“不相信大陆会对台动武”，一方面又重编“快反连”，而这个连的主要任务就是“反斩首”，蔡英文就是怕了。
蔡英文一面声称“大陆不会动武”，一面在台频繁搞小动作。据海外网早前报道，台防务部门于2016年12月26日曾公布了一份蔡当局任内所谓的第一本“防务报告书”，报告中称，解放军军机与军舰年内绕台的航次为：23次军机绕台，及2次航母绕台。蔡英文借机在公开场合抹黑大陆，声称“大陆在东亚区域频繁的军事动态，已经一定程度影响了区域的安全稳定。”她甚至指示，台军应时刻“严密监控”解放军动态，并适时采取必要措施，确保安全及区域和平稳定。此外，蔡英文在年终谈话时还进一步挑衅称，“台湾的防务预算将逐年增长。”
