The new National Stadium in Kallang is scheduled to be opened around April 2014. It is the venue of Southeast Asian Games. After the all-cheena boo boo at the Mediacorp 2014 New Year Countdown at Marina Bay, all eyes are going to be on the opening ceremony of this new stadium. Of course it is going to be a million dollar star-studded grand thing. Hopefully, it is also a multi-cultural affair and not a repeat of the great Mediacorp 2014 letdown.

the question is - define multiculturalism in the context of today's Singapore. It is more than CMI and O is much more diverse now.
