[h=1]Accountant[/h]Job Responsibilities :
- Handle full set of accounts and month-end closing activities ranging from preparing and posting journal entries into accounting system to preparation of monthly financial statements
- Process expense claims and manage petty cash and banking activities
- Coordinate and handle inter-company recharges and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of services
- Monitor receivable collection in a timely fashion
- Enforce accounting policies and procedures and maintain adequate internal controls and procedures
- Support and assist Manager in all financial and management reporting including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Assist in ERP and accounting system development and implementation
- Perform any ad hoc projects/assignments as requested by Manager
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting and qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent)
- Min 5 years of relevant / full sets of accounts experience
- Prior experience in advertising/PR industry is highly preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational and strong communication skills to interact with people at different level
- Able to work in a fast pace working environment
- Self-motivated, independent, responsible, and able to multi-task, work under pressure, and deliver within tight deadlines
- Knowledge of accounting software, Quickbook is an advantage but not a must
- Proficient in MS Office, in particular, advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Willing to work overtime if necessary
