It is disappointing that the opposition politicans and MPs have not spoken up for Amos and seem powerless dealing with the PAP spin.
The only opposition politician that has spoken up loudly is Kenneth Jeyaratnam. He deserves much credit and I hope Kenneth continues to speak up and initiate international coverage of the political persecution of Amos Yee. Amnesty International should be asked to bring international awareness of the torture of Amos Yee.
From paragraph 22 in the letter, it is mental and physical torture indeed to be strapped to a bed and be "prevented from reading books or having other distractions such as conversing with other people", "surrounded by patients who were mentally unsound", and "the lights were never switched off throughout the day".
