PAP claims to have a clean-wage policy but it has continue to maintain a ‘clean’ image through propaganda.

This is because PAP’s definition of a clean wage policy is simply the disclosure of a pay formula which leaves plenty of room for ministers and top civil servants to be paid much more.

After the ministerial pay review in 2011, the maximum ‘Performance Bonus’ is still an unheard-of 6 months.

Performance is subjective and, say, politicians who have barked very loudly – performed well for PAP – could have been rewarded with a 6-month Performance Bonus.

Even for those who performed badly could also be considered good performers, typically receive a 3 months’ bonus.

No one knows how much tax dollars have gone into politicians’ pockets post 2011 review because PAP has concealed the millions they paid to themselves.

Was PM Lee ever paid close to 12-months’ National Bonus?

Isn’t it meaningless to have a clean-wage policy when in fact no one knows how much ministers are paid?

Does PAP have a clean-wage policy or has PAP been cleaning out state coffers instead?

the idea of clean wage and clean policy and clean government is a irony coming from a country which is a tax haven/shelter cum money laundering/tax avoidance hub.

It means the compulsive urges of the PAP to charge you more, but they resist the urges at the moment, & only f^$%k you for one, that is, you pay for the car parking. Next, will be the"exclusive" use of the school toilets, " to maintain good standards & cleanliness plus good ambience" charges will be levied to the exclusive use of teacher's toilets. The use of the teachers table will be charged, plus the wifi, the facsimile, the photo copy machines will be coin operated, beverages & snack machines...it takes an "internal self discipline" to keep the cost down.

So, teachers must have an internal self discipline by not spending out of pocket expenses or teaching outside the curriculum... ha ha ha

i thought the reason why taxpayers pay taxes is so we can build all these schools and facilities and pay teachers so our children can have an education?technically schools are cost centers and not revenue generating centers since the only earning adults in the school are the teachers and staff.....so whats wrong with giving free parking to teachers?the entire civil service is a blood sucking tumor anyway,would you rather our taxpayers dollars go to paying worthless jiak liao bees monstrous salaries and white elephant projects?placing all these unnecessary economic burden solely on the shoulders of teachers is kinda retarded.they are there to perform an important function....u think companies like google would insult their engineers by demanding they pay for parking?

They turn everything into costs centres....for they need the money to maintain an expensive government, so they go looking for ways to make money. The teachers should be happy, they voted to have these people. If they can afford cars, they should be able to afford paying the parking fees. If not, ride bicycles to work, attach a side car to the bicycle & you can load your school work in that side car....then again, they do that, the voters once rejected Ong...will still charge them for providing facilities to park the bicycles...for it is an " internal discipline' thing....an urge they cannot repress, tp screw you!
